HSL: a proud history of community service

In the spring of 1974, a group of Hartwell-area women led by Glorianne Patterson, chartered the Hartwell Junior Service League dedicated to providing service to the community. By 1994 the status was changed to a general club, releasing the age restriction. HSL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the guidance of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) and a member of the NE Georgia District. HSL leads and participates in a variety of community service projects that are consistently recognized at the club, District, State, National, and International level.
